However, the destruction of the environment began with the birth of humans, and although our lives have become easier and easier since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in particular, we have placed a great many burdens on the environment. Through the spread of green technology which can coexist in harmony with the Earth, we hope to help to create a society in which we can all live safely and conveniently.

Origins of the Company Name

Dolphins have developed brains in the same way that human do. Feeling that I’d like to swim with wild dolphins once in my life, I went to see some wild dolphins, guided by my acquaintance in Hawaii. I could just barely swim 25 m, and I had never swum in the ocean to the point where my feet did not reach the floor. Even so, I desperately wanted to swim with dolphins, and before I knew it, I was swimming in the open ocean 300 m from the coast. At just that moment, a dolphin approached me, with a ‘squeak-squeak’! I didn’t think, “What if I can’t swim, or what if I drown? “. I thought, “You were able to swim all the way because you were so desperate to swim with dolphins. Peoples’ abilities are limitless if they act only thinking of the fun things! “ , and jumped right in. People often find reasons not to try and quit before they do things, or begin them with caution. When they do this, their abilities are halved, and their failures play out just as they had feared. Dolphins have taught me that we are able to display infinite abilities if we imagine only the fun things which we have achieved before we try to do something. The dolphins living in the ocean will have to share in the impact of our environmental destruction. The name ‘Iluka College’ was chosen, and our company was founded based on lessons learned from dolphins (Japanese: iluka), so that we could preserve the beautiful blue ocean which dolphins live in.
