SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are the global development goals for 2016 to 2030 which were listed in the ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’ and adopted by 193 member countries at the September 2015 United Nations Summit.
They are comprised of ‘17 goals and 169 targets to transform our world’ and pledge to ‘leave no one on Earth behind’.
SDGs are universal initiatives which should be tackled not only by developing countries, but also by developed countries. The Japanese government is actively working on them, too.
This company is a partner company of the Tottori Prefecture SDGs promoted by Tottori Prefecture.
We have been working towards CO2 reduction through the development/sales/maintenance, etc. of electric vehicles, as well as the transmission of green technology through technical education projects relating to electric vehicles and solar power generation. Furthermore, through the development/spread of fire extinguishing systems for the early extinguishing of forest fires, we are working towards ‘concrete measures against climate change’.
<Future Activities>In Indonesia and others, where we have developed relationships through the spread of the fire extinguishing systems developed by our company, hygiene management such as water/waste processing, is a weak spot. Therefore, we would like to propose solutions for this. We will continue to promote the activities above and contribute to the achievement of SDGs, including Goal 13.
